This works well for removing caulk. I don’t see this tool removing grout unless it’s already crumbling. I still use my finger to smooth the new caulk, the tool doesn’t seem to work as well.

For this price it’s okay. The tips are hard to remove and replace with another one. The cutting part of it almost doesn’t work. The scraper part keeps slipping when you’re the tips and can cause an error. When this does cooperate it’s pretty good. But it gives me more work than it is supposed to save. But if you’re gonna use this once in awhile you can’t go wrong with it. If you’re using it daily like me this shouldn’t be in your bag unless you can’t find a better one at the work site

Might be okay removal of silicon in tightly fit corners, but where there is a gap filled in not so much, had to switch back to putty knife and razor blade (+ butter knife) to dig all the gunk out and clean up the tile surface. Havent gotten to use the finisher side yet, so Ill leave it at three ***.

If you’re looking for a tool that you only need for one or two jobs this is probably a good tool. If you’re looking for a long term tool with lots of projects, probably not your best choice.

I bought this product for the removal of caulk on my bathtub surround, I ended up using a razor as this product was not as expected and the razor work 100 times better

The remover part is metal and can scratch if not careful. Otherwise it makes removing old caulk easier. The smoothing side takes practice. I do wish it was taller to reach behind tight spots like the faucet.

the tool is a little flimsy, but seams to remove the old sealer. it is important to get the remover at the correct angle or it does not remove the sealer easy.
