This product was amazing! My art teacher recommended it and I’m so glad I got it, such a good quality set! Anyone who loves art, it’s worth the money! I wouldn’t let really little kids use it though because they would probably waste the materials!

Perfect pocket paint set

What a great set! I wanted some watercolors I could use to practice comic illustration and this set works well. The pans a very tiny, but if you are doing detail work its perfect. I love the detachable mixing trays and the water pen was very easy to use.

Love these paints. They aren’t grainy like other watercolors I’ve tried, and they are rich in pigment.

There were many different colors to choose from and the brush was cool, although you have to refill it a lot. The box is light and doesn’t take up a ton of space so you can carry it easily. The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t a lot of paint, but other than that, it’s great and you should definitely buy it.

I initially found the water brush hard to control, but I got used to it in time. The colors are strongly pigmented, but leaves a slight chalky residue, as is likely common with all student grade wtercolors. Unfortunately the water brush pen stopped working after only ~10 uses. I squeeze the barrel, but no water moves to the brush head. AsI didn’t know how to get a replacement waterbrush, the palette is sitting largely unused for plein air as originally intended. I more recently purchased the Jerry Q 18 pan watercolor set for half the price of the Koi and actually like it much better. The water brush pen has been much more reliable. I’d say get the Jerry Q.

Not too expensive. Great for beginners
