> 3 dayThese are professional quality pens. They offer a smooth and even flow of ink while drawing and creating. My son uses these for his artwork and finds them to be an excellent tool for artists. The pens are well made and last a long time. This is a wonderful set with a variety of pen size options included.

> 3 dayIve always preferred micron pens, and these are excellent. I like sketching in pen, but black pens make it hard to build off of them. In addition, these are, of course, great for shading. I like to sketch in the light grey first, do line art with the 003 black pens (not in this pack), and shade with both the light and dark greys. Although you only get two grey tones, with a combination of solid shading and crosshatching I can get a much wider range of tones than with only black. If you already like microns I highly recommend these. If you are new to microns be aware that they are a bit delicate, so always press lightly as possible, especially the smallest sizes. The brush pens, frankly, are not very good, as they fray really quickly. They keep a bit longer if you use it on smoother paper, but will likely still be the first ones in your collection to go. If you need a brush pen, look into refillable (fiber) brush pens or refillable watercolor pens. The ones Ive tried tend to come with different ink (usually water based or lower quality) than these here, but you can buy the ink elsewhere. Be aware that these greys lean just a tad cooler, so if you absolutely need a warm grey then search elsewhere.

11-06-2025I have been using Sakura Micron pens for years as they work amazingly well and do not budge! So when I had the chance to try out there new SAKURA Pigma Micron Gray gradient pens I jumped at the chance! I can’t believe it took them this long to come out with a grey scale set! The quality is exactly what you would expect from them! They lay down there respective colors wonderfully, and no matter how much water or other mediums you use the lines do not budge. The tops are clearly labeled so that you know exactly what you are grabbing and can find what you need quickly and easily. Love this set and 100% recommend them!

> 3 dayI love making greeting cards, and I often use these with Copic markers for coloring stamped images. Sometimes these can be just what you need for a little shading or shadowing in small spaces. Theyre a great quality and provide a smooth line.

> 3 dayIn my personal opinion, these are some of the best line work markers out there. Especially if you need to do a bunch of fine stippling in a drawing. Theyre consistent with ink flow and make nice clean lines. Bought a new set to get back into drawing a bit. As a designer, these are also great for doing basic line work for comps for logos, etc or any other fine detail black and white hand drawn samples youre doing for clients/work.

> 3 dayThe colors are in gradient shades from light grey to black with pen point-sizes .25mm, .45mm, .60mm and two of the ten Micron pens in this set have brush tips. The pens uses archival ink and fine tips permit great precision in drawing and writing. While not cushioned or ergonomically shaped they are sized so they are comfortable to hold—not too big or too thin. The pens have pocket clips and the top clicks definitively in place so no question it is closed. Excellent.

Greater than one weekSakura pigma micron pens are great pens for artists and they have permanent ink that do not fade or smudge. The set of 10 comes with pens with different tips and fineness, as well as brush pens/markers. This is a pack of GRAY pens, not black.

> 3 dayThese are my favorite pens as they come in a wide variety of tips and have a long life. While these are waterproof - they do say they are not made for going through the washing machine. I do use mine to write on tags and they last for about 11 months of going through the washer. 10 pen set includes 1 each of 4 points sizes in Light Cool Gray and Cool Gray: Micron 01 - 0.25 mm, Micron 05 - 0.45mm, Micron 10 - 0.60mm fineliner pens and Pigma Brush + Micron 05 & Micron 10 in GRAY ink. Pigma pigment based ink is waterproof, chemical and fade resistant, bleed free, quick drying and pH neutral. Pigma ink colors are derived from single pigment colors for color consistency. Non-Toxic Long lasting No bleeding Works well for watercolors as it will not bleed when wet! Fair price
