14-06-2025I needed an SSD because I always had a lack of storage. Buying and installing this did the trick. Its much faster than a generic SSD that I own. I install all my games on this, and the loading times are short!

> 3 dayI am a PC Tech and you can get a cheap SSD and it will work well. But if you need to image a PC/Laptop and replace it with a NEW SSD... Dont buy a cheap drive. I have tried other drivers and none are as easy as Samsung Imaging software. It just works. Also, I feel the Samsung is better than most anything.

> 3 dayI got this to upgrade the storage in my original model PS4 that was slow and out of space for digital games purchased through the Playstation Store. I was able to physically swap this into the console in place of the original HDD and reload system firmware in less than an hour. The actual install of the SSD takes roughly 5-10 mins with nothing more than a small Phillips head screwdriver. The rest of the time is waiting for the OS to reinstall. This is noticeably faster than the old HDD, though not by a jaw-dropping amount. For example, a digital copy of Far Cry 5 installed on the SSD loaded my save file in about 30% less time than the same game running on the old HDD. It is also much quieter due to not having moving parts, which is nice too. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.
