> 3 dayHeres to hoping storage space prices continue to plummet because, wow, its amazing to pay $60 for ten times the amount of space that I paid for years ago when SSDs were just starting to take off. Samsung is a pretty great option all things considered, despite their recent track record with bad batches of drives that were dying prematurely but that problem seems to be a thing of the past now (at least based on extensive sleuthing through online forums, YouTube, Reddit and the sorts). Of course there are cheaper options out there to get a large amount of space and would be just fine for gaming and whatnot but youre giving up certain things like DRAM and better-quality controllers that some of these more expensive drives use.
