This is a fast drive. Careful, other similar SATA 3 drives say 6 GB speed, vs 560 MB/s on this, but its just a mistake. (this is meant for non IT savvy people). SATA III is rated 6 gigabit per second (Gbps). 1 gigabit per second is about 125 megabytes per second (MB/s). 1 byte is 8 bits. Gb/s are usually used for transfer speeds, bytes are used more for storage speed, (there are valid reasons behind this, if you really want to know just google it ...)

The drives work well, though I would opt for a Crucial SSD before Samsung. I feel like Crucial is a bit more stable, and a little better price... But if you are comparing based on price only, and you see a good Samsung sale, dont worry, go for it... It is an imperceptible difference for most of us humans.

Now my laptop which is over 5 years old works great, like a newish computer.

Samsung quality at a reasonable price. Excellent for a quick media/game/file storage drive.

Perfect drive to give an aged desktop with a spindle hard drive an easy upgrade to make it faster

I am using this 4TB SSD to store my music library. I have owned many Samsung SSDs and I trust them.

Works flawlessly and gave me the much needed space I wanted for my PC games.

Super happy with the product, only issue I had was when I saw the exact same drive locally for about 25% less, other than that I couldnt be happier with it

Easy install right? Got this thing just for 1 game to load quick(Escape from Tarkov) and it does and im happy. After a week the ssd craps out on me, doesnt load my game, and makes my pc read/write slow and boot up slow. After I uninstalled the ssd my pc seems to be back to normal. So After all that I go to refund and then im notified that I missed the return window so ive had a terrible experience with this product, but hey it could just be me.

Great value. Got it when the price was almost twenty dollars cheaper than it is currently.
