> 3 daySamsung drives are always reliable and with hard drives, thats the most important thing. Ive had other brand drives fail on me before but never a Samsung and thats why I stick with them. Great value, easy to install, totally worth it.

> 3 dayOnce I swapped out my old hard drive for this, my boot time was cut to almost nothing and games load much faster. If you are replacing a traditional hard drive though, you need to buy a kit to convert the 3.5 inch bay into a 2.5 inch bay. The software to clone your old drive will need to be downloaded from Samsungs website.

> 3 dayI connected it to my desktop PC and it didnt show up. I went to disk management and it showed it had two partitions. One was 2048gb and the other was around 1930gb.

> 3 dayBought two of these. One to replace a failed drive and another to go into an enclosure to back up to and it is a solid setup. Samsung generally has good quality control when it comes to SSDs and when I need something a little more premium, its what I reach for generally speaking.

> 3 dayI needed a ssd to hold my games since I had to wait forever for disk cleanup after game updates this fixed that problem and works great. I will purchase another one soon to replace one of my data drives.

> 3 dayThis works great on my laptop even though laptop isnt sata 3. I cloned the old drive to this and was able to install it and have everything work great. Increase the bootup speed as well as apps opening faster.

> 3 dayThe SSD package had been opened and then taped shut. Based on the number of power-on cycles in the SMART information it looks like someone was trying to make the SSD work, gave up, and sent it back. Then it was sent to me.

> 3 dayArrived yesterday. Packaging is sufficient but not impressive or costly. I know some people like exquisite packaging (Apple) but I would rather they put the money in the technology. The device itself looks elegant, smooth metal surface. It is a pity it goes on the inside because you would like to show it off, especially compared to the old drive which looks steam punk, with exposed circuits and case bulges to clear the mechanism.

> 3 dayIt was an easy swap out when the old HDD was failing on my PC. The included Samsung software worked great.
