> 3 dayIf youre building a hackintosh, DO NOT GET any Samsung EVO Plus series NVMe. Just having one on your board will cause random and frequent crashes - even if youre not trying to install the OS to it. Its so bad youll very likely not be able to get the OS installed due to the crashing. Not sure whats the issue, but stay away from any of the Samsung EVO models that have Plus in the name. Im told those without the Plus (which are more expensive) do work. I dont know as I replaced it for a better (higher performance) less expensive Western Digital PCIe NVMe. That one works great!
