> 24 hourAs a consumer of the Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD, I have experienced both positive and negative aspects of this product. Firstly, I recorded impressive read and write speeds of 2244 MB/s and 2180 MB/s respectively using an external ACASIS 40Gbps NVMe Enclosure. However, I noticed that the temperatures of the drive can get up to 39-40 degrees Celsius, which has been a concern for some users.

> 24 hourI got this to use in a 1L system; it was found right on boot and worked w/o any issues.

> 24 hourI went from running out of memory and having to load some of my games off of a hard disk drive to having plenty of memory and being able to load all of my games off of an SSD; leading to vastly improved load times that are usually incredibly quick. I never see textures still loading in after getting into a game anymore. In other words I got exactly what I wanted.

> 24 hourI bought the 2TB 980 PRO for my new PC build (specs below). It is used for gaming and video/photo editing programs. It is ultra-fast when playing games and generating content. However, it does not reach its advertised speed of 7000 MB/s. My SSD was reaching between 6700-6800 MB/s.

> 24 hourIt is testing up to 3,300 MBytes per second, read and write. (Note: bytes not bits.) This is on a twelve year-old I7 gaming computer, kind of low to mid range these days. Total happiness.

> 24 hourBought two 500GB drives for storage of programs, games, videos, pictures, and documents. For the price and the Samsung name, you cant go wrong. There are other brands out there that are just as fast, have more total TBW, and are just as good. So whatever you choose, you are going to get some blazing fast drives.
