I am happy to use it

Great quality and very fast for what I needed. Added it to a high speed USB C enclosure as a backup drive and run VMWare VMs locally with more than enough speed to run 3 VMs with high IOPs.

I had this for about 8 months, give or take. The performance within those months was amazing! BUT, it suddenly stopped working and after diagnosing the problem, I found that the SSD failed completely. There was no stress on the computer and no valid reason why it failed at all. Unusable, I contacted Samsung for a replacement since it was still under warranty but they said explicitly that it is the responsibility of the retailer to replace the item. Amazon has a 30 day return policy and absolutely couldnt replace the SSD. I had to settle for a refund and now I have to purchase a brand new SSD for twice the price. Im incredibly upset and dissapointed

I bought this model in the 2TB variant once to upgrade my PS5 storage, and it worked great. I bought this one as a birthday gift for my daughter to upgrade the storage on her PC from 256GB. SSDs are relatively easy to install; this one was the same; easy install. The storage size and speed that this SSD provides are exactly what she needed for Steam gaming. Now she doesnt have to remove old games to play new ones. I had looked at some generic ones but decided to go with something I knew I could trust.
