Been using Samsung products ever since I swapped to SSDs. They are the best and provide reliable performance. I concurrently own the 850 EVO, 960 Pro, 960 EVO, 970 EVO Plus, 980 Pro and now the 980 all at 1 TB storage capacities. Each of them have been blazing fast, significantly faster than standard SATA SSDs. Clearly the 980 is an excellent NVMe drive. I cloned this ssd just using it for a backup drive. Currently I use 980 Pro. Actually I really cannot tell the difference between these two on a PCIE 3.0 motherboard.

This is a no-frills NVMe drive. Samsung always has good build quality and low failure rates. I would only recommend this drive for basic builds or the boot drive for a server PC.

Got this to replace a lower capacity SSD. Used Samsungs Data Migration tool to copy everything from the old disk to this one. Worked like a charm... almost plug and play

Not approved hardware, but works fine as a R/W cache for a Synology NAS.

Installed as my second NVMe drive for data storage. Easy install and Windows 10 format. Took longer to pull the video card to get access to install the drive. All my data transferred really fast to this drive and speed tests look good for the drive. No issue so far.
