This product was a suggestion I was given next to the PC I bought but, it was not compatible so Im returning it.

I purchased this to replace my current Samsung 1TB SSD C drive only to find that Windows 7 does not recognize it and there are no nvme drivers available from Samsung for Windows 7… it is recognized in my bios but only shows up in my device drivers under unknown as a “pci device”. Returning this and going with the Samsung 970 EVO Plus m.2 1TB. Hoping to have better luck with the 970 from what I have read on the internet.

Ive had a number of Samsung SSDs in both SATA and NVMe formfactors. They always work out of the box, and continue working for years. I just received this one today, and the experience putting it into use was painless. Ive got several that have been in daily use for several years, and so far, not one failure or problem ever encountered.

Was very easy to install, storage was great and overall preforms fantastic in my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3. A bit pricey but it’s expected when the SSD functions this good.

Nice device to expand storage on my MacBook Pro 2015 13 Retina. Originally, I had a 128GB SSD which is too small for even upgrading the OS. After trying another 512GB that ended up dying after 2 months, I tried this one. This device was installed with an adapter card (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07SCPSX7L?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and overall it fit well and took about 10 min to install. Installed using by holding CTRL-CMD-R when booting and was able to use internet recovery to install Monterey. Used a Time Machine backup to load back most of my files and applications. The SSD seemed a bit slow to load up initially but overall its much better than my 128GB performance. Hope it lasts!

I received the item in record time and thought that was great, however, the Samsung SSD HD was supposed to be a 1TB And a 250GB was sent instead. The original manufacturer labeling indicated 250 but the gummed label added on the box said 1TB. The original markings and the item inside agreed it is a 250. Now to return and wait for another SSD to arrive.
