This was a gift to my sister which she loves it

My old tablet just wasnt cutting it. I needed something to use around the house for home automation, music and sports streaming that has up to date technology. This tablet fills the void my Asus Nexus 7 left open. That old device is so slow it wont run 2 apps after being factory reset with all new updates. The price point is what really got me on the Galaxy Tab A. Its the only tablet under $300 with this feature that does what I need it to and very well at that. Its not the fastest tablet out there but works well for my purposes. The face recognition wont ever finish setting up. It keeps telling me my camera lens is dirty. Its not. This is the only thing that hasnt worked correctly so far. I connect it to my Samsung smart TV and can mirror to the tablet to take anywhere with me around the house. This came in really handy during the college and NFL playoffs this past season when grilling food outside. I am very happy with this purchase and am thinking about getting another one for my stepson as his hand-me-down laptop is now 7+ yrs old.

I havent found anything that it wont do. The controls are user friendly and easy to set up. I had read a lot of reviews blasting this tablet but I never have any issues.

These tablets are the best. But.. if you are not getting updates and your unit has a sim its most likely an At&t unit and its locked. Contact them about updates.

I have brought cheap tablets (3) this one is worth the money. Screen is beautiful very fast and lite weight. works just like a galaxy phone.

I really had hoped that I finally got a good tablet to be my daily media consumption device. This was very short lived. After initial setup of tablet, started experiencing video stuttering on YouTube and YouTube TV Apps. Contacted Samsung Tech Support twice regarding the issue and they recommend a factory reset on the tablet. I questioned why would I need to do this on a brand new tablet but went ahead and reset the tablet in hopes it would resolve the issue. Sadly it did not.

Purchased this tablet back in May 2020. I didnt really pay attention when opening the box that there was a European power adapter in the box. The Tablet failed , totally in November. After contacting Samsung about warranty and it was sent to them , they informed me that this was an Italian unit and there was no warranty. My email to the seller has just gone blank, no response. Seems Im out $329.00. I have 3 other Samsung Tablets and they work great. Be careful, this unit was sold as a SM-T590NZAAXAR in reality its a SM-T590NZKAXAR (Italy) No Warranty in the United States.

I absolutely love this tablet. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 inch in 2015. It finally died. The battery was going to cost $80 to replace it. I liked the old Samsung but it was slow, the battery was weak and the sound volume was not adequate when it was in a large room. This new Galaxy improves dramatically in all those areas. It is also much more easy to use and move around on. I miss having the large home button but I am getting used to the electronic one. I wish the back button was a little better lite but it works. Samsung made a winner here.
