Purchased for additional memory in the empty slot. Looked for the same memory in Japanese Amazon, but it was still bit expensive, say 10% or more than here. International shipping took 2 weeks longer, but I got exactly what I wanted at a cheaper price. Working well with my Toshiba Notebook.

Perfect match for my MSI laptop, installation was fairly straight forward.

My laptop came with one of these 8GB RAM installed in one of 2 slots. I got this product to upgrade to 16GB of RAM. It was fairly easy to install with youtube as a guide. Ive been using it for about 2 months now and its made an improvement on my laptop load time and performance.

I received the RAM after about a month of waiting. Shipping was okay and somewhat timely. I proceeded to install the RAM after I received it and it turned out to be faulty. The part number and serial was exactly the same as in my laptop and my laptop worked just fine without the faulty card. I tried pretty much everything I could, reseating the RAM, trying different slots and even inserting into an another computer. My computer always failed during a bootup to Windows, resulting in a black screen.

I purchased this as an 8GB upgrade for my Lenovo ThinkPad T480s. This is the exact Samsung SKU that Lenovo had on their website. Lenovo puts their own part number on it, but the sticker on the SODIMM itself in the picture is this exact model SODIMM. I just finished installing it and booting up my computer. Its working exactly as expected for quite a bit less than Lenovos price of $135. Lenovo SKU 4X70M60574
