This is not made of real wood. If you are looking for actual wood, I would look elsewhere. Mine also has an off-putting odor. Not sure if that is common or just mine. But it smells bad.

Got this (And their switchblade style comb) for my Viking for Valentines Day. He loves them both. The authentic sandalwood scent is pleasant but not overwhelming, and the wood prevents static electricity! Both were beautifully made, and seem like theyll last a lifetime. Thank you, Striking Viking!

Very good product

I really loved this comb. It made my beard feel special. HOWEVER...Athough it does say pocked SIZED, and that is true. I would caution you about putting it in your back pocket, because thats what I did and I broke it on the second day. It would have also fit in my front pocket and had I done that, it would not be broken. Although I broke it, it is still a very rigid a solid product. Its just that it isnt very pliable, which is why it broke when it was in my back pocket. It says that it isnt return eligible. Probably because its like a hygiene product. Only gave it 4 stars because I broke it in my pocket. I feel a little misled by the title of it, but now that I read it over again, I shouldnt be.

Had one for four years, but it sadly snapped in half after dropping it. Im sure the new one will last just as long. Has a fantastic smell, and will absorb my beard oil scent over time. Great for combing and detangling my thick and wavy beard after every shower.
