It is tiny, but dont let its size fool you. Have no trouble using it with any computer or laptop.

I love the size. It is quite tiny and can be hidden almost anywhere. For securing information this is the optimal size.

I just plugged it to my laptop and I started saving documents with no issue!

Ive had it now for 16 months and havent had any problems with it. I use it to record 1080p TV shows from a computer TV tuner, play video games, listen to music , watch movies, and store encrypted files. I have it hooked up to my computer through a 3.0 hub so I havent had any heat issues with it.

SanDisk is generally my go to for flash drives & SD cards. So far they have not let me down. These drives are great to use in applications where you just want to plug it in & leave it there. They dont stick out to get in the way. I got one to load my music collection to use in my cars infotainment system. I just plugged it into the usb port & it stays there w/o getting in the way. Since then, I started using these for a few raspberry pis where I wanted bigger, more reliable storage you can boot from them ( you may need to flash a newer BIOS). If you are looking for a flash drive to carry around, Id either attach this to a key chain or something using the lanyard hole, or go with a physically larger drive. These are small enough that it could easily be lost w/o noticing

Bought for the Blink camera system using the Sync Module 2. Worked great. In advance of plugging into the module, I followed these steps to format the USB drive (it has SanDisk software files present when you open it, so wanted those cleared off before inserting). These steps were taken directly from the Blink support page. Sharing for sake of ease in case folks are looking here for this information. To format a drive to exFAT on a PC Insert the drive into your Windows computer and open File Explorer. Find the USB drive, and Right click on it to open a contextual menu. Select Format. Under the File System select exFAT and click Start. When the Format Complete message appears, you can eject the drive.

While this SanDisk drive is easy to use and quite fast there are some limits. First limit is the USB A connector. Most recent laptop/desktop computer manufactures have switched to USB C, which requires the buyer to seek an adapter and may limit the speed of the USB 3 connection. Second once the user places the drive to the USB port and wishes to remove the drive to another machine getting the drive out can be a challenge. Plastic is flimsy and easy to break if the user uses a cord or rope like puller. While I like the drive the case construction is not great.

Like the large storage capacity. Outer plastic case cracked and now is broke. Still works but plastic case falls off. Metal would be better but probably would increase the manufacturing cost.
