> 3 daySize is nice and compact but security software is funky and outdated right out of the box so must download the new version from their site and must be installed properly to function - there is no instructions on this except a few YouTube videos floating around - then update puts a bunch of random garbage files all over after updating- security will only allow privacy but others can still access the vault that holds the folders and delete the whole vault so it just seems silly - I work with photos and I would not suggest using the security vault for photos unless you plan on just storing them on there and moving somewhere else to work with later - the “vault” only allows for image information file names to view and not “thumbnail” image views so unless all your photos are labeled so you know what they are you are not going to like this for scanning over images quickly - it does have thumbnail options for viewing outside of the security vault so if you don’t care about keeping you pictures private then it’s probably ok but definitely wasn’t what I was looking for - also, it will only allow for file transfers up to 4Gb in size - anything larger than that and it will tell you it’s out of memory - took me a while to figure out why my 256 Gb drive couldn’t handle a 7gb movie until I researched it - the size is nice and small, almost too small to the point I think I will just lose it if I drop it in the grass - so in the end you’re better off buying a larger portable HD if you want total security and larger file transfers but ok if you just need a simple storage drive with bad security

> 3 dayI am obsessive about keeping track of things that are important to me, and have a tenancy to have a decent capacity flash drive on me at all times. Sometimes its on a necklace chain, sometimes on a clip with my keys, but its always affixed to something difficult to lose. This dish drive however, defied all efforts to be fixed to a clip, or necklace. You might be able to get some delicate ribbon through the loop, but nothing of substance. After keeping careful track of this for months, and constantly searching for a means to secure it, I could find nothing that would fit through the loop. Other than being supremely easy to lose by even the most obsessive persons, its a good flash drive, and I have no other complaints.

> 3 daythese thumb drives are great for adding permanent storage upgrades to devices like your xbox 360 and occulus. my only complaint is they are fragile and you have to make sure not to step on crush or bend them. they also generate a ton of heat that they dissipate poorly so they can get super hot just being idley plugged in.

> 3 dayI get it, Im an old. I download podcasts and music (yes, I actually have MP3s) to the drive for my car. The compact size is awesome. I once drove ten hours each way to Dallas and back from Albuquerque to buy a car and was able to not repeat anything with all the space. I could just use my cell phone but Id like to not have to charge it every four hours.

Greater than one weekI got these two on sale and will be using them for backing up my Chromebook. They are so tiny that you have to put them in the USB accurately otherwise it will not connect. They work with chrome OS and had no problems deleting a folder unlike an older external hard drive I have. Also, these new words offer password protection.

> 3 dayThis flash drive is great as most of Sandisks products are. I love that this is very compact so it does not stick out very far like most flash drives do. 256gb is just enough for my device. Yes, I will buy more if I need them.
