Fast light portable, this is great so far. If they make a 5tb I will buy one. I have many backup drives, first ssd, wont buy anything but these now.

I used this drive as my scratch drive for editing Blackmagic raw footage on my MacBook and iMac in Resolve and Premiere Pro. No stutters or hiccups, just solid performance. It’s also lighter than a T5 which makes it a great footage drive for anything on a lightweight gimbal (like my M2). The one downside is that the price per gig is about 10% higher than comparable drives by Samsung. Still highly recommend.

Awesome storage device. Easily portable. Smaller than I thought which is a positive. Rugged and speedy.

I got this drive as a warranty replacement for a failed (less than a year old) Sandisk flash drive.

I’m hesitant to take off even one star because I’ve used well over 100 Sandisk products. They have all worked flawlessly! Some under the most extreme conditions. This is the first sandisk product I’ve owned that has failed and it hasn’t even failed completely. It seems the USBC port is loose or somehow partially detached so the drive will only work with one specific cord (which happens to have a very thick connection. Probably holds things in place). Anyway, thankfully I was able to get all the data off the drive. Just writing the review in case anyone is like me and thought these things were absolutely incapable of failing. I probably used this drive the most of all my portables but I definitely didn’t abuse it. I had read stories about cards and drives failing but I never believed them. Now I do. Make sure you stick to your backup schemes because eventually anything can fail.

Love the drive. Its fast and rugged and does the job its required to do. the only con is the able. not the best quality and could be better.

De momento no puedo estar más contento. Soy fotógrafo profesional y con este disco con mi macbook pro retina con usb 3.0 descargo tarjetas en él casi 3 veces más rápido que mis otros discos WD que no eran SSD pero sí usb 3.0. Disco pequeño, muy ligero, con capacidad suficiente (500gb), el cable es cortito pero yo lo prefiero, y además bonito. De durabilidad no puedo deciros todavía. De momento no puedo estar más contento.
