> 3 dayI learned the hard way that most thumb drives, regardless of capacity, are formatted in a way that does not allow any single file over 4gb to be loaded. This is a problem for consumers. At the very least, manufacturers should be upfront about this so non-tech-savvy consumers (like me) dont return thumb drives as faulty (as I did) when they just need to be reformatted.

> 3 dayThe 32GB becomes 28.6GB usable. Does work on Linux once you change the partition from FAT32 to EXT4 [or xfs or reiser]. Remember, when purchasing any USB drive and/or disk, the usable is right around 90-89% of the listed size. Overall, the product does work. It was 5 individual drives and 2 lanyards held together with rubber bands...

> 3 dayI love these thumb drives, because 16 GB is about right for 3 to 4 (14days each) trips per year. I transfer my photos onto the drive each day via a lightweight Surface Pro PC so as not to take up space on the PC. I wish each thumb drive would have a different colored lanyard. I have found San Disk thumb-drives very reliable.

> 3 dayThese are very fast for this price range. They seem well built too. Nice positive click when extended. Copying large batches of 25+ MB RAW camera files, I get 130+ MBPS read, and 35+ MPBS write speeds. I think this is a fantastic bargain.

> 3 dayIs good to have a few of these around for backing up data.

> 3 dayYou would think in 2021 that its easy to get a working thumb drive from just about anyone right? That is the opposite case when buying cheap drives on Amazon. Save your time and just buy these. Two already went into the wash and still work flawlessly.

> 3 dayI only shy away from their CRUZER BLADE SDCZ50-16G Simply because of the look, I know they work, but they look like a temporary throwaway, In my work, everything is The LOOK So I stick with the CRUZER GLIDE SDCZ60 or the Ultra USB 3.0 At my age you set the bar High..!

> 3 dayFast read/write on BIG files - but writing hundreds or thousands of smaller files will remind you of the golden days of 56K dial-up internet. Horrible performance all around. Worse yet, these drives run HOT! After 2 minutes the connector is nearly too hot to touch - I feared for the life of my hardware. How this junk bears the name SanDisk is mystery to me. Returned 2 days later. Beware, stay away from these particular drives! Grade = F

Greater than one weekWork well. Don’t seem to get hot. None have corrupted files so far after 9 months.
