...have used SanDisk SD cards for years -with not a single failure due to a malfunctioning card... A few self induced catastrophes but never at the fault of the card. Even had some survive the spin-cycle.

I am using them to record in a Canon XF-400 and they are holding up well. I download the camera video into an iMac and edit in Premier Pro. Works well. I am quite satisfied.

At this price there is not reason or need to reuse a chip. Save it as an extra back-up.

For anyone who uses their camera lot and takes large size images, this is a good fast memory disk at a fair price. Up to 65 gb works in almost any camera that uses San Disks. Have, several disks, and change disks every day on a multiday trip so if a disk ever goes bad or you lose /break the camera. you dont loose all your prior days of images. Memory is so inexpensive these days, use it to your advantage.
