Decent USB drives at a reasonable price.

These items came just as described...five USB drives and two lanyards. Im not sure why they didnt just include five lanyards or none at all, but I dont plan on using them anyway, so no loss to me. The drives are very light and are made with plastic shells so they dont appear to be very durable if used heavily. I purchased these to have a few boot devices on hand for IT work at my job. Since they will be stored in a case at all times and only used when working on computers, I needed something cheap, small and lightweight. These fit the bill perfectly. As I mentioned, I wouldnt recommend these drives for heavy use and I probably wouldnt want to carry this in my pocket all day, everyday. It wouldnt take much to snap this drive in half. Functionally speaking, they work perfectly and Ive had no issues reading or writing from/to them. I have included a photo to show just how small they are compared to a half dollar.

Only used 3 so far - no issues - am using them for boot USBs for our household machines (Vista, Win 7 Win8 and Server) for backup and for boot issue resolution along with R&D on other test machines - if ther are any long-term issues i will update this review - so far soo good

The items were shipped as scheduled, packaging was good. From the description, I believed that I was buying the original Cruzer type device with a flashing red light in the middle, so In that sense, I was disappointed. Also, there were five devices but only two lanyards instead of five, so I am short of three of them. it makes no sense to me. Despite these issues, I like all products from SanDisk and their products are attractively priced. I definitely recommend this vendor.

These are nice and work fine. A bit small, but that is OK. I like that I can attach a key ring to label them. I dont like that they are not retractable nor do they have a cap.

I bought these for small data storage, like updates, or work projects. Things you dont need a lot of space.. They work great, good deal for the five pack. I would buy again.

A little smaller than I thought. and only drawback is they dont retract. Overall still satisfied. AAA+

I run several operating systems on my computers. With the decline in DVD readers in place of USB installations, I wanted several installation and repair drives on hand for those systems. These fit the bill and were reasonably priced. None of them have any defects nor require drivers or software to function. Good stuff, I recommend them.

Four of the five USB drives had only 196MB of usable space on them. It turns out that they all had two partitions: a very small one that could read data and a larger space that could not. Windows offered to format the latter but then said that it could not complete the task. I eventually got two of them working by reformatting to exFAT -- the file format with which they should have arrived. The others wouldnt format at all, and for one, even that 196MB was useless for transferring files from one computer to another. Very shoddy. No response yet to my feedback to the seller. A month later, and still no response. Now the two that were working after my fix are not. These are junk. I got ripped off for $30 and theres no way to return them. DO NOT BUY!
