Second time Ive ordered SanDisk usb flash drives in packs of five. Both times some do not work. Returned the first bad one. Not worth the headache and frustration dealing with support. Recommend do not buy! Edit (A few hours later): After sending note to seller, CWP Online, Im confident they will replace the defective flash drive. I wont need to go through the frustration of dealing with SanDisk/Western Digital again. I was frustrated when I wrote the original review and I have bought many SanDisk products over time. Still using most of them. All in all, aside from their support and with the support of sellers like CWP Online, they deserve 5 stars.

These thumb drives came in the original manufacturers packaging. Most importantly what I received was the product advertised without any surprises. I use these to create restoration drives for my systems. There are cheaper drives available but not the same quality. Since these drives will be written and stored I need assurance that they will work when needed.

Have been using these flash drives for sometime to share pics with friends and photo shoots for non profits. San Disk is hard to beat on reliability and price for USB 3.0. The 5 pack pricing is great for keeping these on hand. Prompt delivery and service. Thx.

Excellent buy for the brand SanDisk

I bought these to have a set of administrator images for various software packages that I manage for my company. For that purpose they work fine, read speeds seem to be good and the lanyard loop lets me keep all my drives together so I can find the one I need easily. The problem, as others have stated, is the write speed. At an average of 9-10MB/s it is painfully slow for a USB 3.0 device. Its not a deal killer for me since I am writing once and reading many times rather than constantly changing the files on the drives but for anyone using them for actual data transfer, look elsewhere for something that at least approaches the claimed speeds. Up to 100MB/s is seriously misleading when I have never seen one of these drives achieve anything better than 12MB/s for any length of time. And for those who may try to discredit my comments, the speeds Im seeing are consistent across over a dozen PCs of varying ages and specifications as well as transfers of many small files or a single large file. If i was using these for anything other than static storage I would have returned them immediately.

Im always a little leary of USB drives as Ive heard they can be infected with malware, viruses, etc. San Disk is a trusted brand so I felt comfortable purchasing these. They work great and hold a lot of data. Please with this purchase.

A nice small sized drive to store all my utility apps on. Great to have when working on other computers.

Standard product. Nothing to get excited about. Does the job. Reasonable price.
