I bought this to replace a $300 Samsung that took a crap in one year. I like this monitor better. I turned off the speakers because I have speakers, so that part I am not considering. It is better at everything than the Samsung was. I have held off reviewing this to see how it holds up. 5 months later, it is still very good. I never turn my monitors off and that may or may not contribute to early death. I left my Acer on for 6 years and it never fried and is still working today...It just sucked for gaming.

I like this monitor, color, brightness, settings menu, the fact that it has 2 hdmi ports, everything is great. Only problem is the speakers, they are so cheat and awful. If you want to usw it to listwn something, music or even like a speach, watching movie or videos, this is not for you, bcoz speakers are so bad, i think they are little worse then desk phone speakers, you know, you put on speaker when you talking in office meeting, even those better then these..But if you dont care about speakers then its nice monitor.

The monitor itself is a great upgrade from my previous setup (old TV). I really would not rate it above most monitors available today but it is definitely not an inferior product. I think this would be suitable in many different scenarios from gaming to business settings. The thin (edgeless) design would work well in a multiple screen setup also. My biggest and currently only gripe with this monitor is the print on the top of the box stating: Save all packaging materials. Warranty VOID if not transported in original packaging. How does packaging material affect the warranty??? It may be to my advantage to keep the material but I should not be forced to do so for warranty purposes!!!! I can assume all responsibility for properly packing and shipping it back if there were a problem without being forced to repackage it in the original material. For me, tossing the box in the name of decluttering may be worth the risk of a future claim.

I played some Monster Hunter Rise with this pc, and the picture quality is amazing! I also did a test recording on OBS and usually when I stream or record, on my old 1680x1050 monitor, there would be black bars, and this monitor totally eliminated that issue. The lighting is brighter and it doesnt make games too bright or too dimmed out, its just perfect! The speaker quality is pretty good for being integrand into the monitor, but if you wanted a louder speaker, then I would definitely go buy a separate pc speaker. Overall this monitor is very good, and it isnt too big that it will take up space on ya desk :)

The monitors are nice, I own two of them, the white in one is not as good as the other and TBH that doesnt bother me that much as I have two of them, and three monitors total. So I would be carful if you only have one, or two and they are both of them, however if you are just looking for an extra monitor to have some lesser important not color accurate stuff this is what I would use. There are definitely not gaming monitors, when it comes to a gaming monitor I would sacrifice 4k for refresh rate. My primary gaming is a 240hz with 1080p. Its worth the dip to 1080p, however these are not ever the top of 75hz. If you go into your display settings and go to adjust it, you will see 59.9 and 60hz. I can prove I have changed it correctly because my primary will change in the exact same settings. Plus I work in IT, with displays being one of my primary focus. So long story short, its an okay second or third monitor to have at 60hz refresh, and okay color accuracy.

I bought this monitor for my son who is starting his senior year in High School this year. The monitor is about 24 inches from each opposing corner. It is not the fastest monitor in the market by far, but the colors are accurate and the monitor performs very well. I dont like the stand very much but it serves the purpose. I recommend it especially for the price. It is good value for the money.

Very satisfied with several Sceptre models, but especially this one. I had to switch from this model when the price went from $110.00, to +$180.00. This model has great picture quality and a small bezel. The stand does tilt, but no height adjustment, I would expect that in a $110. monitor but not a $180.00 monitor. The stand is adequate for my use, if I need more adjustments I would use a VESA desk mount with this monitor. I dont use the speakers on any monitors, as I have found them to be less than usable. IMHO they should not have built in speakers and lessen the cost or provide better speakers. I always have to provide different speakers. If interested I switched to this monitor, Sceptre E248W-19203R, same options and picture just costs $105.

Time will tell how this monitor lasts, thus far Im very impressed with its clarity, sharpness, and features for the bargain price. I use this with a Dell (E7440 14) laptop w/Intel HD graphics and have set it to leverage native YbCr @ 75hz 1920x1080 and it looks really good. Ive been working from home for a few months - and possibly for a while longer - and needed more screen real estate than the ancient 17 LCD monitor I had. Wow, was this an upgrade. I have a really nice 34 Dell monitor at work that I might not see again for a while, and this 24-er does not make me miss that one, which is an older 60hz display on a Dell Optiplex Intel HD desktop. Anyways, it has all the modern features incl blue light shift, night mode, power saving, etc. and has been a pleasure to use. Sceptre was a new brand to me, and Im glad I took a chance. Well see how it performs over time. UPDATE: 4/21 so far so good. No issues to report, pixels all firing. Nice job Sceptre. Still working remotely (mostly) and happy to use this monitor.

Monitor was purchased for around $100 at prime day. It has solid colors and an above average refresh rate. No noticeable glaring or anything to detract from the quality. My main complaint is the base felt a little lightweight for my taste. I doubt it’ll fall or tip since it sits low, but more stability might be feasible
