Schluter indoor Kerdi-Drain Grate Kit, 4in Brushed Nickel, 720p

I used the kerdi membrane for sealing my shower and it was very simple to do, if you are some what of a handyman, and the install of the drain was very straight forward in the directions. Plus schluter has a bunch of videos that break down each process step by step to make you feel like a pro.

I got this because it looked easy to install and it was. To snap the ring to the drain and then push it down into the wide ring to the exact level to need it at. None of this spin the drain stuff when your tiling. Put this in as your tiling to get the best fit possible. Super easy

Kerdi has the beat quality products

Install, fit, and finish upon install was great. However, I strongly suggest you give a lot of thought to choosing between this brushed nickel finish (which is anodized aluminum) and schluters stainless option. This is because the anodized finish is readily damaged by anything alkaline. If you read the fine print, you cant even get wet mortar on the anodized grate/frame without damaging its finish. A lot of mild enzyme cleaners which dont damage any other fixture, will likely damage this grate (like it did mine). Really wish I would have just gone with the stainless grate so I dont have do a chemistry research project any time I use a cleaner.
