Found that my PS4 FAT and Pro were both eating up a lot of memory. So decided instead of installing a NEW BIGGER hard drive to look into a USB External hard drive. This one was up and running in under TEN minutes!!! Used the rear USB outlet to keep the front USBs open for controllers and Keypad. Got a USB 3.0, 4 outlet for the front and now can use more devices without warning from the units that to much is plugged into the USBs.

It worked good for about a year then it corrupted and bricked. I have crap internet too so its going to take me months to reinstall all my games.... Wouldnt recommend seagate this is the second drive Ive had that they make and they both bricked within a year of getting them

I ordered the 5TB version designed for PlayStation. It only holds 4.3TB, but it’ll be a long time before I run out of storage. It can store PS4 and PS5 games. PS5 games must be moved to console to play. I recommend!

Bought this hard drive to extend storage for my sons PS5 and it works flawlessly (so far).

Purchased to address the annoyance of having to delete and redownload my games. Previously was using a 1 TB laptop hard drive which was ok for short term. This solution is much nicer and provides the additional storage I was looking for.
