The Seagate external harddrive works wonders for the ps4 because even if something happens to the harddrive, your saved data is connected to the ps4 itself. I already have about 13 games downloaded on the harddrive and I still have plenty of room to install games. So glad that Sony lets us use external harddrives

It was a little confusing setting up, but it definitely helped.

I liked the design, convenient size, and at 4TB at $100 pretty worth the price.

While its a great little drive that is pre-formatted for your PS4, there is little reason to purchase this specific drive at double the cost. You can easily format a drive to configure to a PS4, and similarly, I was able to reformat this drive for my Mac without any issues. As a hard drive, it is great! The speed is great, copying a single GB file in less than a minute, while at the same time, the device feels sturdy enough from falls, if that happens (hopefully not). So overall, I things its a very good item, durable and reliable, while I think its over priced and you can have double the storage for the same price for a little effort of reformatting the hard drive.
