Bought this for my son as a gift. He plays PS4 and a lot of the games he plays have huge updates. This works well for him and he has had zero problems with it. I also really like this brand for external hard drives.

Sleep mode kinda shaky. Sometimes it works asap, others you have to go to Storage device to activate/repair.

I generally don’t write review but I really like this product. This works with your PS5 however you will need to move in /out of your external drive to play your game. You can not play the game if it’s saved on the external drive. You have to move it back to the main console in order to play the game. Only takes less than a minute (depending on file size) to move files etc. Well worth it.

Pros: 4TB HDD built-in, an NVMe slot that runs quick (1500 Read, 2400 write), good cooling, a Thunderbolt pass-through, USB ports galore, and a Displayport. This thing has all of the ports, bells, and whistles you could want in a hub.

Works like a charm! Nuff said.

This product was a lifesaver, because having to delete games off my system just to make room for a big update or another game was not fun. That being said I would not advise anyone to buy it without doing your research first. I usually buy things as long as the good reviews out way the bad but I honestly hate I didnt pay more attention to the bad, I thought it was not going to happen to me. I bought this last April and a couple days ago I was playing games without a problem or warning. A day later it just quit on me. I tried everything even went to the internet for help but I didnt get a good answer besides that its just screwed. I lost my data and everything, so buy at your own risk.
