This is plug and play - literally. Works great for saving games and was a cinch to set up. I am not sure what the difference is between this and a regular computer expansion drive, but this does well for what it is described as. If anything changes or I have anything to add about long term durability, I will update the review, but so far so good.

It works fine for me. Finally can download all my games and have more space.

This item is amazing. I’ve had little problem with it. Every one in awhile, the OS needs to find the device and repair but it’s great for storing my PS4 games. I will use this on my Ps5 when I eventually get one. I heard external storage works on the PS5 for PS4 games only. The quality of this external hard drive would make you think Sony developed it themselves. Great official sponsor.
