> 3 dayLike any game, it took a few rounds before my family understood how much fun this game can be. it takes a little getting into the theme and how the plotting and trickery can begin, but once those kick-in its a fun game that up to 10 people can play. We usually play it maybe 5 or 6 times in a row.

Its hard to get my family interested in most games because theyre derivative, or simplistic, but Secret Hitler was a smash hit -- original and intricate, with lots of room for individuality. If youre smart and strategic, youll like this game. If your idea of a great game night is a rousing game of Monopoly, maybe this isnt the game for you.

> 3 dayIf you have played games like werewolf, mafia or resistance (all games that are impromptu and do not require any thing to play) this game is better. My 9 year old plays it and so does my 74 year old dad. Although any players less than 6 its gets a little awkward.

Secret Hitler is a dramatic game of political intrigue and betrayal set in 1930"s Germany. Players are secretly divided into two teams - liberals and fascists. Known only to each other, the fascists coordinate to sow distrust and install their cold-blooded leader. The liberals must find and stop the Secret Hitler before it’s too late.
Each round, players elect a President and a Chancellor who will work together to enact a law from a random deck. If the government passes a fascist law, players must try to figure out if they were betrayed or simply unlucky. Secret Hitler also features government powers that come into play as fascism advances. The fascists will use those powers to create chaos unless liberals can pull the nation back from the brink of war.
