Secrets of a Kept Woman

This book was really long and drawn out. Is not worth the time or money I invested. Not sure where the other reviews are coming from but I was very disappointed with this book. Big waste of time.

WOW i really enjoy this book i could not put my kindle but i had to when i had to do my job but anyway as soon as i finish i stsrt looking for part two an i found a part 2 an a part 3 and i brought both of them i could not wait to found out how Shayla, Rhonda, & Gladys lives trun out and Rhonda is no sister from another mother she is not friend at all good reading getting ready to start reading part 2 keep up the good work

A little obvious in the beginning I knew Rhonda was ducking that man. But good page turner. Glad I read it finally

This book really caught my attention from the first page. Im one that doesnt read for real, but when I started reading this book I couldnt stop. Shani, you did a wonderful job. Keep up the good work and Im ready for more. Great job!!!

Very surprising book so glad it ended on a happy note I would highly recommend this story to read great job

Shayla, Rhonda and Gladys are childhood friends, then along came a man. All I can say is you never know who your friends are and some men will do whatever if you let them. Go get the book.

Love it couldnt put it down

Not what I expected off one of my favorite authors but it was okay. I literally skimmed the entire book, I never do that. So for that, this book gets a meh.

Wow..where do I start...This book was all over the place...One chapter you would hear that Gladys didnt want to tell her friends about the abuse she suffered and in the proceeding chapter Shayla would speak about how Gladys needed to get out of her abuse marriage...This book was sorry...and a struggle to get through but because I hate not finishing what I started...I finished it...How is it that Big Shirley (an undercover cop) was responsible for killing the hustlers on the corner in retaliation? I mean how unrealistic...The only realistic part in all of this was the mistress getting pregnant by her bfs hubby...Which is one of the reasons why I gave the book 3 stars instead of one...Also, because of Shaylas spiritual side...Why would Shayla be loving or in love with the pool boy so soon when he was only brought into the story for 3 hours of pool cleaning...Bottom line is this book was ridiculous and the only reason some ppl gave it 5 stars is either they are family & friends of the author or they just liked the drama of it...
