Just do it. Failed no-name adapaters haunt my junk drawer. This one is going on 14 months and works great, despite being inadvertently yanked from the CD player several times by the headphone cord.

Works better than the crap ones that comes with headphones.

Its an actual sennheiser adapter. Not worried its going to break and that alone makes it worth it. Thought about buying one of the other brands but decided to pay for the peace of mind.
