Great sound, comfortable, good passive noise attenuation. Many a times have I fallen asleep with them on. The pressure they apply to my skull is about right, and after two years, the padding isnt yet coming apart or flaking off. There is nothing bad I can say about these headphones.

These are the most expensive headphones Ive ever owned and definitely worth the extra money. I was blown away by the quality of the sound - In every track I listened to I was hearing things Id never heard before - They make me want to sit down and re-listen to my entire music collection!

These sound great and fit nice. My only complaint is the coiled cable is heavy and pulls at the headset. If it had a straight cable id never look back.

Excellent quality headphones. They really help shut out noise around me at work because they fit so nicely around my ears. Sound quality is great.

These headphones are relatively heavy and somewhat uncomfortable. I am assuming they just have to be broken in.

I purchased these for my teenager on the advice from someone who already owns a pair. She loves them. Beautiful sound and a comfortable fit.

Im purchasing my third pair of the Senheiser HD-280 headphones since 2004 -- not because they wear out, but because Ive misplaced one and my young son chewed through the cord on the other. These are great noise-canceling headphones for home studio. Comfortable, sturdy and predictable, which is key for recording. I wear these for hours with no complaint. I keep coming back to Sennheiser because over time Ive trained my ear to use these headphones for mixing. Good balance. I do think thats the key to any studio monitoring headphone: pick one thats comfortable, sturdy and sounds good to you ... learn how to get good sound from it... and dont change it. Im glad Sennheisers been making these headphones for as long as they have... and that the quality is so consistent.

I got these headphones and the first thing i realized is that all of my itunes songs now sound best with the equalizer set to flat. In other words, these headphones are what the producer was hoping for. Same was true for both the Beatles and Tool. Only downside is the potential for discomfort. These headphones are slightly uncomfortable. hurt the crown of my head till i realized the appriate

These summamabitches are amazeballs. I honestly did not think music had so much bass (thanks, iPhone earbuds!).
