Greater than one weekOnly a few days in but these are great. I have a good feeling from how they feel and sound that they should last a while. I have already used them for some long term sessions as I got them specifically to wear at work. These are easily comfortable for all day wear which was a big deal to me. The sound quality is also much better compared to when I am used to but I do not consider myself an audiophile by any means.

Greater than one weekIve had these Sennheisers for a couple of years, and there are four major points that Id like to cover:

> 3 daySennheiser hits the mark with quality and affordability for these headphones. They are comfortable for long listening sessions. The flat quality to the sound is also excellent to avoid fatigue when mixing as well as listening to commercially made recordings. I use them through a Focusrite 2i4 and directly with my Akai EWI. Directly with an iPhone is not recommended. I have other phones to compare thee to and enjoy to transparency of these. You hear all the instruments as intended by the producer on finished productions in addition to how great they are to make your own mixes in your own DAW. There is enough bass. Bass should not define the quality of a set of headphones. Clarity of all sounds and the mix should. More bass or the bass head mix is a matter of taste. Too much bass when poorly mixed covers up the mid and high range. Bassheads, move along and look for something else like Skullcandy or Beats. I primarily listen to Jazz, Classical and some 70s-90s Rock/Pop in addition to my own mixes using acoustic instruments and DAW created beats/background.

> 3 dayGreat set of headphones -- comfortable & HQ sound -- I travel light, but always make room for these headphones. After several years, it became necessary to replace the ear pads and they are easily available.

> 3 dayThese earphones do exactly what they are supposed to do. The sound quality is terrific and they keep our extraneous noise. They are a bit heavy, so they can get uncomfortable when you wear them for a long time.

Greater than one weekWhen I ordered these, I got some buyers remorse because I already had a perfectly good pair of Sennheiser PX 200 IIs. I just received them today and they were worth every penny. Fresh out of the box I can already hear parts of music and videos that I wasnt able to hear before. The quality is amazing, even kick drums have more detail. As I just got them and have yet to do any extended listening, I gave them 4 stars for both comfort and durability, but that being said I have had them on for about 2 hours now and they still are extremely comfortable. The $88 price tag is fantastic for these things, and it is probably the best $88 I have spent. YOU CANT GO WRONG PULL THE TRIGGER ON THESE BEFORE THE PRICE CHANGES!
