The hole is about 2.5 inches in diameter for sex toys. Its not very deep at all For this reason, you really need a very squishy toy to fit. To inflate you gotta take the gray thing off and manually breathe into it then cap it. It took me a few minutes to figure this out since theres no instructions with it. Ive had my 150 lbs weight on it and it could withstand my weight. Overall it is a comfortable pillow as well. Blowing this up is easy! Literally can blow up by mouth. It has a nice sized hole where a toy could sit (nothing with balls) it also works well for lower back pains. I find it worked well stretching. Works great all around and I recommend it for numerous reasons!
