Sharpty Inverted, Windproof, Reverse Umbrella for Women with UV Protection, Upside Down with C-Shaped Handle

> 24 hourI bought a reversible umbrella for myself and my sister liked what it offered so much she asked me to get it for her for Christmas. Benefits and Things of Note: - Love how many different options there are. I get bored with solid colors and if it is going to rain then my philosophy is that I should have as much excitement in the rain as I possibly can. The pictures on it are tasteful and add just a pop of color that add a bit of pizzazz. - Absolutely perfect for when you walk into a building. One of the best things about it is that all the water gets trapped inside the closed up umbrella. Meaning that when you walk into a building you arent dripping water and dont need one of the plastic covers they offer you at the entrance. - Getting out of and into a car is made a lot simpler and easier during heavy rain moments. All you need to do is barely have your car door open to close up or open this umbrella, which is a nice change from regular umbrellas where you have to basically have to have the car door wide open to close them up. - Handle has a little more to grab onto than other umbrellas, which is nice when you have other things in your hands. Definitely allows you to have more in your umbrella holding hand if you need to.

> 24 hourFirst off, this is a pretty umbrella, and I do like the inverted feature. For the most part, it works fine. However, there is a learning curve. When you push the button that opens it, you have to release that button almost instantly or you will push the umbrella past the opening point. You may think, Well, duh, obviously. But, the problem is that the way the button is situated, you use your thumb to push the button and then you push up. Its almost a natural positioning of the thumb, so you have to make a mental decision to lift your thumb off of the button when you slide up. If you dont lift your thumb, then the catching mechanism will not engage and the umbrella will start to fold back down. And, on one occasion, I couldnt even get it to close. Talk about embarrassing! The C handle? Nice concept, but it doesnt actually work that well. As one reviewer mentioned, you have to balance it on your shoulder or it will tilt and fall. So, basically, you still need one hand to manage the umbrella. Maybe with more practice, this feature will work better. Oh, and when you come in out of the rain and close it? Yes, it does, for the most part, keep water from falling onto the floor....UNLESS, you decide to hold the umbrella on your arm by the C handle. Then, yes, you guessed it... the water will then drip everywhere because the inverted part is now hanging upside down. So dont hold it by the C handle. Good idea, except its almost a natural inclination to want to slip it onto your arm. The coverage isnt very broad and I found myself getting rained on too much. It just simply doesnt offer enough protection... at least not for the price and the supposed benefits. It did prevent most of the rain from getting in my car, but while walking to or from my destination, I did get a little wet. Im getting the hang of releasing the button when opening, and I may master the C handle, but the one thing that would improve this umbrella for me would be broader coverage. Im tempted to pull out my bigger umbrella, but I like the inverted feature, as well as the pretty design on this one. Oh, and because I paid as much as I did I will continue to use this one. Summary: Pros: * Pretty designs. * Does help to prevent most rain from entering vehicle. * C handle is convenient to hang umbrella on arm. Cons: * Can be tricky to get it to lock into open position. * C handle doesnt necessarily allow hands free use. * Can get stuck while closing. * Not enough coverage to completely protect from rain. Overall, I dont regret buying this umbrella, but Im not sure if Id buy another one if this one quits working.

> 24 hourSeriously, best purchase ever. So convenient. I hate umbrellas because I get so freaking wet trying to close it while getting in the car and this is a game changer! It’s a little long but it’s so worth it when you can stay dry and keep your car dry too! Already recommended everyone at work and in my family to get this and I rarely tell people to go spend their money. UPDATE! 10/2018 So I ordered this on June 23, 2018 and today is October 30, 2018. I’ve used the umbrella maybe 10 times since it barely rains here and sometimes I’ve forgotten it. Some downsides. After a couple times using it the little tips would come off every so often. Not a huge deal to me and I would just pop them back on. Recently though, one of the metal lines (not sure the actual term) that goes from the top center to the tips broke and it now pokes through the other material when I try to close it and also makes it harder to open. It still works somewhat and the convenience is just perfect with keeping my car and myself completely dry. I just wish it was more durable especially for the price. If I had to pick between another more durable traditional umbrella or this one, I’d still pick this one mostly for that convenience. Lowering a star due to these reasons.

> 24 hourThis design is the bomb. I have no idea why umbrellas havent been designed like this forever. It really does make a huge difference getting in and out of a car or ducking inside. No more getting wet or getting others wet!

> 24 hourI rarely give five stars, but this is the best umbrella I have EVER had. It closes inverted, so when I get in the car it unlocks and seamlessly closes without any of the awkwardness of a typical umbrella. The second layer of material (with the print)has tiny airholes, so when its windy, there is no struggle to keep it open. The C shaped handle is ideal. I hang bags on it to keep my hands free, it is extremely sturdy. I get compliments on this beautiful umbrella every time I use it. I probably will have many more because it is so durable, I expect it to last for YEARS without having to be replaced. Thank you for a wonderfully engineered umbrella, functional and gorgeous!!!

> 24 hourMy wife wanted a new umbrella for Christmas and also complained of the difficulty she has getting in a car with her current umbrella. When I saw this advertised I had to give it a try. She loves it! Getting in and out of a car door is now much more easy. Great idea.
