Sharpty Inverted, Windproof, Reverse Umbrella for Women with UV Protection, Upside Down with C-Shaped Handle

Ive had it for several years. I live in Los Angeles, so it doesnt get a lot of use. Its broken now. One of the rods just suddenly cracked in half. I can still use it for now. Its very pretty. Its not as wide as I would like, although I could have measured in advance. I get lots of compliments on it. The design is cool, although you have to be careful not to spill all the water it collects as you close it. It takes several tries to make it lock open and then lock closed. Despite all this, before it broke, I got one for my daughter. Now all the metal studs at the ends of the rods are coming off of hers. Shes used it less than 10 times. If that. Its a nice umbrella for a little while.

When folded outside the water drains off the umbrella rather than in the car or on my pants. This is an excellent evolution in umbrellas.

The second one I received has been very reliable so far, it opens smoothly and always clicks into place properly. As of yet it hasnt yielded to any strong winds, either. It lasted through a rainy month with no issues. This being said, the first one I received failed after only 4 or 5 openings. The umbrella got stuck in the open position. It would not respond to its button being depressed, and even an extra person pushing down on the umbrella while I held the button and pulled did not close it. It was replaced hassle free, though, so all is well. The first one had to be thrown out, as there is no way to ship or store an open umbrella. As far as operation goes, it is incredibly convenient, being able to open the umbrella between a car door is extremely handy, and it does hold the wetness inside if you stand it on its handle when you bring it inside; just as well, you can pour it off into the sink before you store it. If you have good luck, the first one you receive may be like the second one I received. I would advise opening and closing the umbrella, and otherwise using it a large amount when you first receive it, so you find any issues before amazons return window closed.

I only used it once so far and I am pleased.

best umbrella Ive ever had. design is great. both the inverted brella part and the C-shaped handle. I have two of these (one in the car, one in the house). highly recommend. PS: Im a man. Ive given them as gifts. to women and men. I have no idea why it says Umbrella for Women in the description. because of the designs? shrug. who doesnt like dark blue with white polka dots? you can always get plain black.

They look fantastic and stand up by themselves. (Still cant avoid getting a little water on me and the car when getting in), but this is the best, sophisticated solution that Ive seen.

Well it’s great for the rain and everything. However the handle tends to want to pop off at the connecting point when it’s opened.

I bought the umbrella as a gift, I have not used this one specifically. I have an umbrella that is the same concept and it’s wonderful! When I first saw this umbrella type I was like where have you been all my life?? Keeps you drier and it’s less messy when closing.

I live in Southern California, where it doesnt rain much. However Ive had this umbrella for quite a while and it is beautiful. It hasnt broken or anything and I get compliments on it quite often on the rare occasions it does rain here. I definitely would recommend this!
