Greater than one weekI ordered a large for my Irish Sport Horse. He gets turned out at night so I put them on and when I brought him in in the morning, he had bad rubs on each ankle from them. Im so bummed he cant wear them.

> 3 dayThese are the only fly boots we will buy any more! They don’t come off in the pasture. They fit a wide range of horses And they work!

> 3 dayThese are so easy to put on and take off, and they consistently stay upright rather than droop down to the horses fetlock. The light but durable mesh theyre made out of seem to allow enough ventilation so the legs have a chance to dry after its been wet or damp. Ive found they make a big difference in amount of stomping and my horses legs are the better for it. I can tell the velcro is getting a little dirty and therefore wont be sticking to itself so well after a while but so far its holding up and Im pleased with the product. Will definitely buy again!

> 3 dayThis is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! I try to keep my horses out 24/7 when possible and one of my horse’s legs and feet were not tolerating it. These boots not only prevent him from stomping constantly but they also keep his legs protected from moisture. He had scratches on his pasterns and these boots come almost down to his coronet band so his pasterns are protected. I also love that they are not touching his legs for the most part so his legs stay cool. My horse is 16.2 hands, is a big-boned thoroughbred and the large size fits him perfectly.

> 3 dayThese are absolutely the BEST fly boots. Whoever designed these is a genius. When you put them on you think that the flies will go down into the boot. They don’t!!! These boots are sturdy, easy to put on and off and the best part… they can stay on 24 seven since they are not tight on the leg. They are more expensive but well worth the money. So many people at my barn are now using them.

08-06-2025The stays on the sides break down. Bought them for two years. Of a set of four I have to pitch two and can save two for another year as spars.

> 3 dayThese stay on and hold up so well. I bought some that were more expensive that just slumped down by his hoof, these stay up and protect his whole calf

> 3 dayThis is the third year I have bought this type of product. I lived on the West Coast up until three years ago and the barn where I kept my horse was near the coast. We did not get inundated with flies. After moving to the Southeast, it was strongly recommended that I purchase these leggings for my horse. It seemed the first pair I bought in 2019 lasted longer than the pair I bought in 2020. The first pair was passed down to a retired horse but last years leggings had to be tossed. Shoo-Fly is still a great brand and with strong recommendations from all my barnmates, I will continue to purchase these every year.

> 3 dayI love these fly boots and they work great. But I have found they dont last even through one season. I have used them on two different horses. They are expensive considering how often I have to buy them. But here I am again at the start of fly season and Im buying another pair. I have a message to the manufacting company about the problem, waiting to here. The stitching on the stays comes apart in a matter of about 6 weeks.
