> 3 dayI love these fly boots and they work great. But I have found they dont last even through one season. I have used them on two different horses. They are expensive considering how often I have to buy them. But here I am again at the start of fly season and Im buying another pair. I have a message to the manufacting company about the problem, waiting to here. The stitching on the stays comes apart in a matter of about 6 weeks.

> 3 dayThis is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! I try to keep my horses out 24/7 when possible and one of my horse’s legs and feet were not tolerating it. These boots not only prevent him from stomping constantly but they also keep his legs protected from moisture. He had scratches on his pasterns and these boots come almost down to his coronet band so his pasterns are protected. I also love that they are not touching his legs for the most part so his legs stay cool. My horse is 16.2 hands, is a big-boned thoroughbred and the large size fits him perfectly.

> 3 dayThat said, my horse keeps looking them. I cant determine how this is happening. I ordered large for him. Hes a Standardbred. Im going to take a seam in the top to make them fit a little closer. The top is wider than the bottom. They do work well though.

> 3 dayThe stays on the sides break down. Bought them for two years. Of a set of four I have to pitch two and can save two for another year as spars.

Greater than one weekI am really pleasantly surprised with these! I expected my mare to hate them- she doesnt. She never batted an eye when I put them on and turned her out. Shes worn these boots everyday for 2 months now and they are holding up just fine! Shes much more relaxed now that shes not constantly stomping her feet to get the flies off. Highly recommend. Update 6/2021 we are still using these leggings and they are still working. I just bought a second set for my gelding.

> 3 dayTHEY REALLY WORK!!! I saw these on horses in Florida this winter, so I decided to try them this summer. The flies can be really nasty to my big, very sensitive, red gelding. The flies just eat him alive. From the minute I put them on, the stomping stopped. You do have to adjust the ankle velcro if your horse is thin legged. He now waits for me to put them on after a show or work session. They have also stood up to 24/7 turnout and stayed on.

> 3 dayMy friends horse was coming into the barn each morning with bloody legs from fly bites. I told her about the boots and I could tell she thought I was crazy. I sent her the boots and after using them the first time she said it was the first time in the past few months her horse came into the barn with NO blood from fly bites.
