> 24 hourIts not wind proof in the sense that nothing happens to it in the wind it just resists breakage. The umbrella still inverts in the wind but if you hold it at a good angle it wont. I dont recommend using the automatic closing feature. Its kinda finicky just pull it closed like a normal umbrella.

I will have to come back to that once they are used on a rainy windy day because we have extremely strong wind gusts during storms. Most often, just about any umbrella we’ve ever owned has turned itself inside out during such. So we go through a lot of umbrellas. I bought everyone in the household their own umbrella just because it was time to replace the old ones. These seemed like a good deal. We’ll see if they withstand the test of that gusty wind.

The weather was rainy and used them often, one time in a gust of wind my husbands umbrella turned inside out and he was able to easily turn it back to its correct shape. We did use carabiners to hang them from my purse and my husbands belt when they were wet. Heres a hint: Dont get black which is such a common color for umbrellas and can be mistaken for someone elses umbrella, we bought burgundy and navy.
