Silhouette SILH-Blade-AUTO Tool Kit, White

First of all, I hardly ever write negative reviews, so this pains me to write. I needed a replacement blade and ordered on Amazon to make it easier vs driving close to an hour away to the craft store to pick one up. Sounds like a typical Amazon customer, right? I couldnt wait to dive back into my project once my new blade arrived. Replaced the blade and I couldnt get anything to cut. Fiddled with the mat, the settings, everything, as I figured it was user error in replacing a blade vs a problem with the blade itself. I was WRONG. I pulled the protector cap down and checked the blade- it seemed chipped, wasnt straight nor anything like a new one. Ended up making the drive and getting a new blade there- replaced it with that, and suddenly my Silhouette Cameo 3 cuts beautifully again. I really dont think the blade I was sent was a new blade whatsoever, and Im extremely frustrated and disappointed with the experience. Note to self: only buy replacement blades from the store from now on. Sad.

I purchased a blade from amazon in the past that was suppose to be the silhouette brand but it was faulty and broke after the 1st use. This made me skeptical about buying through amazon again. Im glad that I gave this company a chance. I am satisfied with my purchase and the blade cuts easily. I will come back this company when I need to replace my blade again. The price was also great in comparison to other suppliers. It was such a deal I thought that I was purchasing an off brand! It is not.

The ratchet blade for the cameo 3 works well. Bought this as a replacement blade after the original finally wore out after a ton of projects.

This past year it has been hard to find replacement blades for my machine so I grabbed a couple of these. Just what I needed and cut perfect.

I didnt realize my blade was so dull until I ordered this one!! Works great!

After about 9 months of having my cameo, I decided to buy a new blade. I had sharpened my blade that came with the machine and cleaned it etc. This new blade cuts like butter. I’m now convinced that my blade that I got with the machine was not ever really sharp. Same blade and this has made all the difference.
