Love these silhouette auto blades, I always have a few extra handy since I cut so much. I have a different blade for vinyl and cardstock.

this blade would not cut through any material. even at the highest settings in SS there was still an issue. I used google, youtube, and even reached out to chat with a rep at Silhouette America to see what the issue could be. Since I had just bought this blade to replace an old blade, I thought for sure it was the machine and it led to so much frustration. FINALLY, after having to complete an urgent project, I bought a new official Silhouette blade and realized it was this blade all along... then I happened to look at reviews now that I know the blade was the issue and see this is an ongoing issue with other customer. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!! I nevveerrr leave reviews, but this is a honest warning!

I purchased a blade from amazon in the past that was suppose to be the silhouette brand but it was faulty and broke after the 1st use. This made me skeptical about buying through amazon again. Im glad that I gave this company a chance. I am satisfied with my purchase and the blade cuts easily. I will come back this company when I need to replace my blade again. The price was also great in comparison to other suppliers. It was such a deal I thought that I was purchasing an off brand! It is not.

Cuts great with no tear out.

The only reason I wont give this 5 stars is that I cant ever get my Cameo 3 to adjust the blade to the correct number thats selected in Silhouette Studio. The blade itself is great and it may be user error, but I always use it on the ratchet blade setting and manually set my blade to 2 or 3. From now on I will just buy the ratchet blades and avoid the fingers-crossed step where it rotates through all of the blade numbers and lands on the wrong one. (The last time I used this feature, it landed on 10 and cut all the way through my cutting mat)!
