This is a great mat. I actually ordered this in the green color first, and decided to get a second in the gray so I could keep one at home and keep one in the diaper bag. I love that this mat has a silicone tie that comes with it to help keep it rolled up for easy storage and travel; this is something I hadnt seen with other mats I have looked at. Once the mat is laid down on a table it does not move, which is great. It is nice to have to put down at a restaurant, or even the dining room table. This mat can be used to replace your child using a plate at a young age when they are primarily eating using their hands, or to be a place mat to keep plates or bowls from sliding as much as they would on a wood table top when your child is a bit older using utensils.

This silicone mat is an amazing find. The material is strong and durable. I pack it in any of my baby bags and it takes it minimal space. Not only is it compact, folding up much smaller than silicone plates, but it is also incredibly versatile. I can put finger food on it for my 7-month-old, and it is easy for her to grab the food. Also, its great for my 4-year-old to eat off of too. His plates and cups dont slip around on the table with this mat. I would definitely recommend it.

This is great. I use it for molding clay. But I have also used it a few times as a placemat for my daughters food because it’s easier to clean the messes that way. It sticks really well to our tables. And dry erase marker washes easily off.

My dogs make such a mess when eating their wet food and also drinking water, so I got this to go underneath their bowls to protect our wood floors. Works great! I think this would also make a great on the go diaper changing pad. Fold up pretty small.

Bigger than I thought it would be and it sticks all to our tabletop. No suction so it can get folded up pretty easily but it does stay put from sliding.

Im a huge fan of using my dishwasher, so Im a huge advocate of anything that is dishwasher safe. I would say 99% of the time, silicone is dishwasher safe. This silicone placemat has a matte surface and a shiny surface. The shiny side is the non-slip side. This mat rolls up, easy to clean. Good value. Recommended.

Honestly I got this out of desperation to keep our wooden table a little more clean, especially the cracks. While it is nicer than nothing, wood is not the easiest thing for it to stick on... It sticks well on our granite and out tile on the floor. But its so so on the wooden table. Maybe if we did not have planks and it was 100% smooth it would work better? But besides that it is very easy to clean, it is still nice to keep most things on it while my toddler is eating and keep the table a little cleaner. Since it does not stick 100% to my table I do have to watch my toddler so she does not fling it off! Which is a new issue, but toddlers do things like that any way so is that new? lol. I also wish It would have come with a travel bag so It could stay clean if we ever took it with us. Not necessary, but would be a nice addition. Overall, its a nice mat and really will be good for a variety of uses with little ones.

Not just a placement for children. My puppy’s bowl was sliding around the kitchen tile and this mat helped it stay in place. Good suction, good quality, looks good and dishwasher safe.

This is a great idea. It helps prevent messes by providing a non sliding area on which to place all babys food items, and it keeps them all in one place on a leakproof surface that is very durable and easy to clean. You can either wash this by hand, or place it in the dishwasher. It is a great idea and will make it through several kids.

I actually already had a mat very similar to this one, just a different color from a different brand, and it was meant for pets — so when I saw this one, I thought why not? Now both of my cats have a placemat for their very own, and it makes clean-up a lot easier. I got a couple silicone mats from the pet store some years ago, which had a raised ledge around the edges (to catch dry food, which doesnt matter to me since I feed wet only), and one of my cats didnt like the ledge, so as often as not hed pull chunks out of his bowl and drop them on the floor anyway. This silicone mat only has the slightest edge; it also sticks to the floor, which makes it less of a tripping hazard (my old ones go flying if you trip over them). I like the color (gray, pretty unobtrusive), and the design is easy to pick up and hang dry after running through the dishwasher (dishwasher-safe is a must-have feature for me). Nice buy!
