I hate not leaving five star reviews. That said, the quality of these bulbs is a bit shoddy. The bulbs vary in brightness. I had to go through about 10 bulbs to get 4 that had even brightness. Also, the frosting is on the inside. Furthermore, the frosting ends before the metal base. Ultimately, they do give off light, just not the quality one is used to.

This was one of those buy it again orders where I simply went back to the last order and repurchased, expecting to receive the same bulbs Id gotten before. But these are definitely different. Theyre slick and shiny on the outside, unlike the ones theyre replacing which were coated with a lightly textured frost on the outside. That would be fine since Im sure Im the only one who could tell the difference unless you got up close. But of the 12 bulbs in the box, two of them popped as soon as I started to twist them into the lamp socket and a third one had a big brown crack in it. I threw that one and the two that popped away. I think there should be something to either disable the buy it again option when a product has changed significantly or a way to notify the buyer for instances such as these.

I do not recommend these lights. Most of them died after 4 months. Bad quality.
