> 3 dayOut of the first 5 bulbs removed from the package and tested, two didnt work, one quit shortly after installing in the lamp. When we got to what appeared to be dried blood and a bloody fingerprint, the bulbs were packed up and returned. Disgusting.

> 3 dayDespite Amazon shipping these GLASS LIGHT BULBS in an ENVELOPE, they arrived unbroken and working. The maker has them in a lightweight corrugated cardboard box with cardboard dividers between each bulb. I cant speak on the longevity yet, but I figure if they were able to survive the trip in a simple envelope, they must not be too bad. The brightness, wattage, size, and frost were as described.
Please note the CA10 Flame Tip E12 incandescent light bulb falls under the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) 2020 exemption rule (candelabra base) in the Department of Energy (DOE) 2016 ruling.

Please make sure the light bulb base matches what your light fixture has. E12 Candelabra base is a much smaller base comparing to the common medium screw base E26, with 26mm diameter. |
Light TemperatureThese incandescent light bulbs output 2700K light temperature, which is considered warm white or soft white. The glow is yellowish, providing a warm and cozy ambience. However, it is NOT ultra warm around 2200K, which is closer to amber color instead. Please look carefully at the output light color prior to purchase. |
Working with Incandescent DimmersThese incandescent light bulbs are dimmable using the dimmers designed for incandescent & halogen light bulbs. All incandescent and halogen light bulbs are dimmable using traditional dimmers, as these dimmers simply adjusts the voltage level for dimming. Dimming using LED only dimmers will result in incompatibility, as LED dimmers work very differently. Please check the compatibility of your dimmer switch or light fixture prior to purchase. |
