SINKINGDOM Air Activated Switch Button for Sink Garbage Disposal Part, Chrome

A close match to my Koehler ORB FAUCET

Worked well with counter and sink depth. Factory switch with Insinkerator was too short.

My Insinkerator brand air switch broke and they do NOT sell just the switch, you have to buy the entire system for around $85. I purchased this switch, with plug and ring, and after installing it found it works well and operates the Insinkerator electrical switch under the sink. I ordered a Brushed Nickel finish, and it is not quite there, more of a chrome finish. Fortunately I was able to use the old Insinkerator ring and plug and it worked well with this switch. The other small difference was that that the plug has to be depressed a bit further down to activate the disposal.

Thought it was metal and had a second nut as shown in the picture but didnt come with the second one

Works perfectly every time and looks great with our matte black fixtures. Replaced the air pump mechanism with a different color. Air hose connects easily to existing box under the sink. The challenging part is tightening the ring under the sink - not a fault of the product, just a matter of bad angles and cramped space behind the sink.

I had ordered another oil rubbed bronze button that just looked brown and didnt match our sink and faucet. Then I found this one and although more money looks great and goes with the rest of our oil rubbed bronze accents in our kitchen perfectly. Very happy with this product.

This worked perfectly to replace the Insinkerator button which had ceased working. Installation was a snap!
