This is a solid product unlike others that are plastic below the counter top.

I wanted to install this on my kickplate below the sink cabinet. I wanted to keep the hole out of my quartz counter. One less thing to clean around. I needed a switch that popped up so I could lightly kick it on and off. It works like a charm. This should be the standard in every kitchen design if you need an air switch for your disposer.

This is a great switch for my Kitchenaid 1 HP garbage disposal. The raised button is convenient. Some models have a sunken button. I do not want to push down into a hole. This is easy and works perfectly.

I think the feel of it. I install a lot of push button garbage disposal buttons. Most feel cheap. This is solid brass and feels like it costs more than it did. Works great
