I got the magnetic holder to use with straight pins for sewing. The Bobby pins were a bonus. The magnet is strong. The indentation makes it easy to lift pins off the holder. I like to move the magnetic holder just above the floor to pick up all of the pins I dropped.

This Bobby Pin Holder, Magnetic Pin Cushion is very similar to one that I have in my sewing room. I dont know why I never thought of using a magnetic sewing pin holder to hold my bobby pins, but Im so glad that someone else did! This will literally save me so much time when getting ready. Nine times out of ten, Im always on the hunt for two of them, and it takes me forever to find them. Im not sure where I put them, but its obviously not back where they belong. The old adage is so true, you need a place for everything and everything in its place. Now, my bobby pins have a cute and very secure place to be. This magnetic bobby pin holder comes well-packaged, is well made, and even has a nice little storage bag for traveling. I know there are a myriad of uses for it and it would also make a great gift. I would absolutely recommend it!

We actually bought this for my daughters dance bag. She uses it to find all the bobby pins lost in the black hole. But it also came in extremely handy when I spilled my sewing pins. It has a nice strong magnet. Thinking about buying another for my sewing room. Lol

Light turquoise magnetic pin holder comes with 20 bobby pins and a very nice zippered case. The 2 3/4 by 3 3/4 pin holder will hold any small metal items that a magnet will attract like paper clips, sewing pins, safety pins, or bobby pins. There is a little ditch in the middle that is about index finger size which makes picking items up much easier. The pin holder fits snugly inside the zippered case but the 3 1/4 by 4 1/2 by 1 1/4 hard case (with a mesh pocket inside the lid) would also be ideal to hold all kinds of small items. I have used it to hold lead and eraser refills for mechanical pencils - every time I needed a refill in the past it took forever to find the correct size but not anymore! Also included are two packets with 10 bobby pins each. Very handy magnetic holder and case!

I am currently using this for bobby pins, but I also tried it with some screws while I was working on a project and it worked great. The best part is the groove down the middle which makes it easy to get your items off. Size is perfect, it looks similar in size to a bar of soap.

I have a little metal box where I hold my bobby pins but this is so convenient for on the fly grabbing one while youre working on your hair. I love it.
