I am currently using this for bobby pins, but I also tried it with some screws while I was working on a project and it worked great. The best part is the groove down the middle which makes it easy to get your items off. Size is perfect, it looks similar in size to a bar of soap.

This magnetic bobby pin holder has many uses beyond bobby pins. It is a hard plastic item that is magnetic. It measures 3 7/8 x 2 3/4 and comes in a zippered polyurethane pouch which measures 4 1/2 x 3. Also included are a few bobby pins. I was tired of finding bobby pins on the nightstand, on the bathroom vanity, in drawers, on the kitchen counter, on the floor, and everywhere else in the house. Now, my bobby pins are organized in one spot. Even my cat cannot pull them off this magnetic holder! At present, I have this bobby pin holder on the vanity in my bathroom. Actually, I will probably order another one for my night stand. This magnetic holder would also come in handy in the home office for paper clips, for pins in your sewing room, and even for nails, bolts, and other small hardware pieces in the garage or when you are assembling one of those easy to assemble items. There is just no end to the uses you could find for this product. What a nice useful product! It makes me wonder why I didnt think of that first?! Now why didnt I think of this! This is so handy to have in your bathroom. This magnetic holder is perfect to store bobby pins, or to just keep them secure while youre doing your hair. Either way, this is a very handy device to have. This also comes with a nice storage case that I wasnt expecting, so thats an added bonus. Overall, a great device to have in your bathroom. The bobby pin magnetic holder helps to keep my bathroom drawer organized. I feel like I was always looking for bobby pins and they would be hard to find In my drawer. Now they are all attached to this magnetic holder so you never have to look very hard to find one. The magnet works on both sides so I put decorative bobby pins on the bottom to keep them organized also.

This is nice to be able to contain those bobby pins. There is even a zippered case if you want to travel with it. It also comes with a few bobby pins. The magnet is strong enough to hold the pins, but not so strong it is hard to get them off.
