My son loved it and worked perfectly for him.

I didnt realize that you need a whole new starter pack for Giants. The kids were disappointed to get Skylander Giants but not the portal. For those of us that are not fluent in video games speak, it shouldve clearly stated on the packaging what is needed in order to play with these figures.

My son loved this. I only got it coz it was cheap and for his birthday. He is 7 and loved it. He still does.
