I bought this thinking that it was a great alternative to the much more expensive Moby wraps because they are basically a glorified extra long scarf. However I purchased this product in the gray and it actually looks more like a muddy brown, which I read from another reviewer and didnt mind brown. After one washing it faded and looked cheap. Both my husband and myself were both able to wear it (53 and 5 11) However the material is very thick- kind of like a heavy sweatshirt and our son overheats in it with both of our body heat together. This was also in the wintertime. So I would have to remove him once we reach our destination instead of keeping him in it. I also could not wear him around the house because the material was too thick and he would get too hot and uncomfortable. This is super long, and it would puddle on the floor which you dont necessarily want your new baby wrapped up in. It also doesnt fold up small. Like having a blanket with you, wouldnt fit in the diaper bag. So after a couple attempts I ended up having to buy a more expensive brand with a lighter fabric anyway and tossed this one. If you have a baby that runs cold or a newborn that needs warmth then Id go with a lighter color to hide the fading- or expect that the color will fade. Watch the ends on dirty floors. Id also tie on the wrap prior to leaving and just move baby in and out when needed and keep the wrap tied on.

My one-month-old daughter loves being in this wrap! She is fast asleep within a few minutes of being placed in it and I am free to move about without holding her in my arms. Ive used this to go out on appointments and do errands outside because Im not comfortable with a baby being in a car seat most of the time and my stroller is best for walks rather than errands. This serves well for being in stores or taking her to appointments as she is very comfortable and doesnt fuss a bit while out. My daughter also has reflux, and Ive learned that feeding her while she is upright in here is the surest way to avoid her heavy spit up. I pump and bottle feed and supplement when needed with formula, but I can see this as being as easy for breastfeeding as it is with a bottle. Its Pros: * Very affordable! * Lightweight and easy to pack around. * Baby is comfortable and sleeps well in a wrap. * Makes doing chores less of an obstacle. * Serves to keep baby and parent close. * Great alternative to packing baby around in a car seat or stroller while shopping or going to Dr. Appointments. * Feeding baby upright in the carrier to help ease symptoms of reflux or GERDS. Its also good to note this wrap gets warm! Yours and babies combined temperatures are kept in the fabric and you will both get sweaty after a while during arduous activity or warm weather. For this reason, Ive invested in a breathable lillebaby carrier for summer. Cons: * This will stretch out! Wash it as needed to help it shrink back. Otherwise, youre working with too much fabric. * Learning curve to using it. I recommend watching a YouTube tutorial on any similar wrap and practicing along a few times. After that, youre set. Using it will become instinctive. * HOT! The wrap gets warm. It is likely not suitable for long wearing in Summer. * Not fit for hiking or activities requiring lots of arduous movement. I suggest also looking into a more hardy baby carrier (especially with lumbar support) for hikes or long walks.

When I first saw these wrap carriers I was a little intimidated about how well they would hold. However after trying it a couple times I became a pro in no time. The stretchy fabric lets baby get close without it being too tight and also lets you play around with different holds. For the price this is definitely the best bang for your buck!

So I bought this because my first carrier turned my littles foot purple. I read some other reviews.i mean honestly I have had no problems with this carrier and shes very very happy in it. I am feeding a kid who eats every second shes up, basic cluster feeder, this wrap puts her to sleep and gives me the break I need and the sleep she needs. Before this purchase I was confined to the house because I am nursing so much and she would cry if she unlatched for any length of time. It left my hands tied up. Weve now been to church, the mail box twice, the store a couple times with no problems. I do put my hand under her because it feels right. But when I need to both hands are now free to do chores and grab things. The only problem I have is on long walks she gets heat rash And a bonus Im buying another one because this also wraps tight enough for belly binding! Not its intended use but it works.

I got this for my dog, we go camping and I have tried everything to carry him in and he absolutely despises it all but this carrier he loved! It also is a nice thin layer of added warmth (he’s 10 lbs and gets cold quickly) it is so super stretchy which is great! The only thing is it smells weird upon arrival (like plastic) so I’m going to wash and dry it to see how it holds up. But other than that 5 stars. Will update with pictures after being washed:)

This product is easy for travel as it is compact. It is a challenge to wrap at times since it is so long. Baby is very comfortable and falls asleep everytime. It can also get hot though for both mother and baby. I like the product but also have a traditional carrier as back up depending on the day and how I want to carry.

I wish my baby liked to be worn but he felt constricted. The whole time I wore him he wanted to get out. I bet if I got it before he turned 2 months it may have been different.

Im one of those I never write reviews people, but Im sitting at my laptop with my 6 week old nestled and sleeping comfortably in this wrap, so I think that speaks for itself. I was given a hand-me-down Moby wrap. I was so excited to use it. It was so cumbersome to put on, and I even had a babywearing expert help me with it. I got the hang of it, but inevitably, the sections that hold the babys head against your body - SO important for a newborn with no neck strength, would never stay snug. I would readjust and readjust and it just never worked. I dont know if the one I was given was super stretched out or what. But my baby would be snug inside while his head would be dangling completely backward and flop all around. NOT good. Also the fabric was pretty rigid with the Moby and so I think if I didnt have his feet perfectly inside and wore him for a long time, it would pin his feet in an uncomfortable position. So I would put him in an Ergo 360 I was given, inside the baby insert, and he felt more secure but it just seemed like overkill for just walking around the house. So in frustration I went on Amazon and typed in baby wrap to see what might be a bestseller, and this item popped up with great reviews so I ordered it. It arrived yesterday and I immediately tried it out. I liked the stretchy nature of the fabric, and the grey color. I immediately tried it on with my son and it seemed to hold his head down gently. I then washed it because it did have a slight smell to it. There were no washing instructions so I washed it in a normal warm cycle and dried on low. I cant tell if it shrank at all, but seemed to still be really nice after washing. Today I tried the wrap for real, and I was right, the stretchy fabric is exactly what is needed! I didnt need to be very exact with how I tied it. He seems to mold perfectly into this wrap. It is a soft, forgiving fabric, which is nice for little ones - who needs rigid fabric for an 8lb child? - but still very supportive. I dont feel like hed fall out, but I dont feel like hes plastered to me. And best of all, the fabric gently but securely holds his head against my chest. hes sleeping very soundly right now, and I can go about my day, doing dishes, laundry and work on the computer with him nice and close and safe. Hes been on me for about 2 hours now and nothing seems to be loosening up or shifting. If you are between this wrap and the Moby, go with this one! I will say since this is the first day Ive tried it, I cant comment on how it will hold up in the long run but first impression, this wrap is just perfect.

Ive got an adorable young cat who frequently wants me to pick him up and hold him and/or carry him around with me. I LOVE that he enjoys that and I try to oblige all of his hold requests, but its just not practical to live my whole life with a cat in my arms. I didnt like the way the slings made for pets were designed — they all keep the pet too far down at stomach or hip level, and the whole point of him wanting to be held is that he likes to be high up and close to my face. So I thought: what if I tried out a carrier made for a human baby? My guy is small — ~7lbs. Small newborn infant size. This stretch wrap seemed like it could work, and what do you know? He likes it! And I do too — he feels secure in the wrap but not squished. Im not worried about him falling out and he seems comfortable — at no point was he trying to jump out and he seemed to be able to shift positions when needed. My hands are free, my little bud gets his snuggles (and a GREAT view of everything Im doing). The wrap was easy to learn how to put on and its easy enough to just leave it on when Im at home so Im ready to hold him when he asks. It does feel like a lot of fabric when Im wearing it though. When the cats actually in the sling Im not thinking about it as much, but if its empty and Im just going about my day, Im VERY aware that Im wearing what feels like 50 meters of fabric wrapped around my body. I also noticed that when hes in the sling, over time the carry moved further down my chest/upper torso and Id have to reposition him every so often. That could be user error — maybe my wrap technique needs improvement. But I docked a star for the bulk and the downward travel. Ive got a ring sling on the way as well — well see if he enjoys that as much as he likes this stretch wrap!
