I bought 2 of these to use outdoors. I use them with Google Home. Set up was easy as long as you are on a 2.4Ghz wireless. Both outlets can be set up and controlled independently. I have already set one of the outlets on a timer which works great. I also like the real time electrical usage through the app.

A little difficulty setting up with my deco mesh wireless but not too hard. Just follow the instructions to the letter and make sure you understand your own wifi network. Once setup this worked great and did exactly what I needed. It gave me control of my pond pump remotely, allowed me to set a schedule for it to save power/money and gave me metrics on the pond pump ( power usage over time, voltage, amperage and kwhr). That is a big thing to me because I like to figure out my energy hogs and control them.

Previously advertised to be IFTTT compatible and now no longer is. When asked about a Refund, they explained IFTTT changes made it too expensive to maintain compatibility and referred me to Amazon for a refund. They say sorry for the inconvenience but thats exactly why we purchased these: convenience. Dont buy. Theyre trash.

I love this because when I’m out of town or just going to be late getting home until after dark I can turn my outside lights on by remotely using my phone.

Bought this for outdoor lighting and due to the high water resistance. Havent had any issues but it hasnt been through much rain yet. The construction is solid and it is quick to respond to Google Home commands. Overall very pleased and a better value than more expensive options in my opinion.

Relatively easy to setup & connect to our home WiFi & Alexa when purchased, then after about 2 weeks, it went off line & appears to interfere with our WiFi & cannot be reconnected. For example, using an iPhone X, the phone’s WiFi connection would drop once within Bluetooth range of the plug. Removed app, rebooted phone, router, & plug to no avail. To top it off, the Feit website is nonfunctional. Would give this piece of crap & Feit zero stars if that was an option.

Ok this probably sounds bad but the Wi Fi and set up was not bad. However it lasted 7 days outdoors. Amazon gave me a full refund. I had it in a bag as it said avoid moisture even though it was outdoor rated. The was no star rating for quality and I did not want someone to make the mistake we made.

I am using it with Google Home Assistant. It was easy to setup. It is used to control some outdoor decorative lighting. It works very well.

Love it!

It works great but haven’t seen a timer function on it yet.
